A Minecraft dragon build of 33,374 blocks: a dark green dragon with gold horns and a tan belly, wings half open, coiled round a snowy peak. It covers 118 by 120 blocks and stands 88 tall, and a little over half of it is the peak it sits on. It was generated on this site from the request above, for Java Edition 1.21.

Eleven Ender Dragons tall

The one dragon the game has is the Ender Dragon, the largest mob that spawns naturally. This statue is a good deal bigger.

That is eleven times the height and more than seven times the width. A dragon meant to stand beside the real one, or over a town built to the size of a player, has to be far smaller than this. The requests under the build box ask for that.

One turn round the peak

The Minecraft dragon build from straight above: a dark green dragon with grey wings and gold horns coiled round a pale ring of rock — The pale ring is the peak. The body circles it once and the tail runs off at the bottom; the two gold shapes in the middle are the horns.

On the ground it is 118 by 120, about seven and a half chunks each way.

On flat ground
Paste it whole and the flat underside sits on the ground. A frozen lake, a plateau or open sea saves clearing seven chunks of forest.
On a mountain of your own
Leave out layers 1 to 13, the underside and the peak, and start at layer 14. The coils are 85 by 91 at their widest, so the summit has to be about that size. We have not tried seating it on real terrain.
Beside other builds
It dwarfs most of them. The stone castle in this gallery is 43 by 46; this dragon is almost three times as long.

A hoard and a challenger

A hoard under it
The whole build is a shell one block thick, the peak included, so there is already a cave under the dragon. Break in at the back and stack gold blocks.
A dragon that fits a castle
To perch on a tower of a castle about 45 blocks across, a dragon wants to be a quarter of this one.
A knight to face it
The kneeling knight in this gallery is 120 blocks tall, taller than this dragon: the two were not made to one scale. A knight for this dragon would be about 20.
